Joseph K. LaBonte President & CEO

I was born in 1948 and raised in New Hampshire. My early life was nestled among small farms in Loudon where opportunity abounded to become learned in the life skills of being in community. There were chickens, cattle, gardening, maple syruping with teamed oxen, horses, working among men at a very early age, (an opportunity quite unavailable today), woodworking, house building, education in truth, justice (the two driving forces in my life).

I was later ripped from my community and the “possibilities’ it offered by being forced to participate in the insanity known as the Viet Nam Conflict from 1968 to 1972, which was by any standard a genocide of some 5 million human beings in Cambodia, Laos and Viet Nam with weapons of Mass Destruction, thus a War Crime.

The subsequent years were a rather scattered journey of confused efforts to reconcile the storied “America is the greatest”, version of the Country and community that I resided in, with the reality that confronted me that our history and contemporaneous actions were so completely evident to the contrary and reflective instead of an Empire.

A restlessness ensued followed by many different occupations and avocations: Tug boat deckhand and roustabout on oil rigs in Louisiana, taxi cab driver, life insurance salesman, actor and technical director in youth, community and summer stock theater projects, probation volunteer, day care and child abuse worker with the NH div. of welfare, ballet dancer, opera singer, actor, road and home-building construction worker, human rights and environmental activist, walker/ runner and cook with native American projects in America, Australia and New Zea-land.

For some 18 years my vocation has and continues to be an Owner/Operator over the Road truck driver. Currently my avocation is President/CEO of the Constitution Restoration Cooperative Association; the purpose of which is to promote public awareness and education of the Constitution of the United States of America and to develop legal actions to help ensure our political, civil and military leaders have a working knowledge of the Constitution and are upholding their oath to “preserve and protect the Constitution of the United States.”

I am also the developer and director for a national tour promoting the Constitution of the United States of America called the Constitution Restoration Tour the Next Generation.

I would have to say that I advocate for and develop programs that work to ensure the right of every human being to have “Clean Air, Clean Water, Clean Food, Clothing, Shelter, Education, Health Care and Equal Justice which equals World Peace through non-violence.”
